"Simon has been part of the formation of the gardens at The Lodge at the Hills since inception. Originally Simon was part of Sarah Bennetts Dig in Diva team but in 2017, Simon bought out the company and from then on was fully responsible for maintaining our gardens.
These gardens we have are complex and push the limits of traditional gardens as some species are the first time they have ever been grown in central Otago. The climate also challenges our thinking as we have extremes in temperatures only found in alpine conditions.
What Simon brings to the table is a vast knowledge of plants, the care of these plants and minimising potential losses.
